SUBSTANCE: active matrix substrate used in liquid crystal panels has a scanning signal line, a data signal line, a transistor which is connected to the scanning signal line and the data signal line, first and second pixel electrodes in each pixel, one of the pixel electrodes being connected to the data signal line through the transistor. The active matrix substrate has first and second capacitor electrodes which are electrically connected to pixel electrodes, between which and another pixel electrode capacitors are formed, respectively.
EFFECT: high efficiency of producing active matrix substrates with pixel division and capacitor coupling, and liquid crystal panels having such substrates.
