SUBSTANCE: receiving device has a buffer which is configured to store packets of a first packet sequence composed of packets selected from one traffic stream, which are common for packets of another traffic stream, and packets of a second packet sequence composed of common packets; a read control section for reading packets of the first packet sequence and the second packet sequence stored in the buffer, at the end of a predetermined time after establishing synchronisation between packets of the first packet sequence and packets of the second packet sequence, owing to which one traffic stream is restored from the first packet sequence and the second packet sequence; and a selection means for selecting the restored traffic stream.
EFFECT: high accuracy of restoring a traffic stream.
