FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: system involves control of wireless communication of access points (AP) in a heterogeneous wireless environment. As an example, system data of a wireless message may be configured to include information which identifies the defined type of a transmitting base station. In certain aspects, the information may include the access type of the base station and/or ID sector to distinguish the base station among a large number of other base stations. According to other aspects, the information may include wireless channel resources meant for a specific type of base station, or cancelled by the transmitting base station to reduce interference on such resources. Using aspects of controlling wireless communication disclosed herein, effective and reliable communication can be influenced in large heterogeneous AP networks.
EFFECT: high efficiency and reliability of communication.
