SUBSTANCE: system data of an aerial message may be configured for inclusion of information identifying an individual type of a transmitting basic station. In certain aspects information may include a type of access of a basic station and/or an ID sector for differentiation of a basic station among a large number of other basic stations. In accordance with other aspects, system data sent in a wireless signal may include resources of a wireless channel designed for a specific type of a basic station or blanked with a transmitting basic station, in order to assist in reduction of noise in such resources.
EFFECT: reduced noise for partially planned or unplanned networks of wireless access.
