FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass exchangers to be used in oil processing, petrochemical, chemical and food industries. Proposed device comprises zigzag-shape webs making through vertical zigzag fluid and gas passages and vertical rods tightly fitting in bend edges of zigzag web. Vertical partitioning plates are arranged staggered behind vertical rods in said vertical zigzag passages. Said webs feature H/A ratio equal to 1.2-3.25 where H is distance between webs equal to 35-75 m, while A is bend edge radius not exceeding 3 mm.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of mass exchange.
