FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device includes vertical contact grids and adjoining to them zigzag partitions (1) with gusset plates forming zigzag channel divided to separate contact chambers. As grids the meshes (2) with equivalent diameter of cell in range 0.5-4.5 mm and free cross-section of cell in range 45-80%, and contact chambers have dimensions A×H in range A = 40÷80 mm, H = 40÷120 mm, where A is distance between adjacent zigzag partitions (1), H is distance between adjacent edges of bend of the zigzag partitions (1).
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of mass-transfer at medium and low densities of refluxing.
