SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials, and specifically to compositions of crude mixtures for making bricks and ceramic blocks. The crude mixture for making construction articles contains clay, waste paper, sawdust, crushed fibre glass and ground scrap glass, with the following ratio of components in wt %: clay - 89.6-93.5; waste paper - 0.1-0.2; sawdust - 0.1-0.2; crushed fibre glass - 0.1-0.2; ground scrap glass - 6.0-10.0.
EFFECT: high strength of articles.
