METHOD FOR DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-VISCOUS OIL DEPOSIT AT THERMAL EFFECT Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC E21B43/24 

FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: method for development of high-viscous oil deposit at thermal effect includes construction of two two-mouth horizontal wells, pumping of heat-transfer medium and product extraction, between two-mouth horizontal heating wells there constructed is a horizontal productive well, between the first mouths of heating wells there installed is a high-temperature pump and heating boiler with surge tank, the second mouths of heating wells are interconnected by connecting bridge. The obtained closed system of heating wells is filled with oil ATM-30 chosen as heat-transfer medium. The system is forced to circulation, the oil is extracted from production well till formation depletion, after that steam or hot water is pumped into heating wells with their preliminary perforation continuing the extraction from production well.

EFFECT: extension of water-free oil extraction period, increase of formation heating efficiency and reduction of energy consumption.
