METHOD OF DEVELOPMENT OF HEAVY OIL OR BITUMEN DEPOSIT WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF TWO HEAD HORIZONTAL WELLS Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC E21B43/24 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil producing industry and can be employed at development of deposits of heavy oil or bitumen with implementation of two-head horizontal wells. The essence of the invention is as follows: the method includes pumping of a heat carrier via two-head horizontal pressure well, heating of a production horizon creating a steam chamber and production withdrawal via a two-head horizontal producing well. According to the invention heating of the producing horizon begins with steam pumping into both wells, then cross well zone of the horizon is heated, viscosity of oil or bitumen is decreased, while the steam chamber is created by means of heat carrier pumping when the heat carrier breaks through to the upper portion of the producing horizon; at that the steam chamber grows with the production withdrawal. When production is being withdrawn, thermo-grams of the steam chamber are taken, and condition of its heating, influence to uniformity of heating and presence of thermal spikes are analysed. On base of obtained thermo grams uniform heating of the steam chamber is performed by means of changing direction of filtration and/or modes of pumping heat carrier and withdrawing of production. At that volume of pumping heat carrier via heads of pumping wells and/or withdrawal of production via producing well head is changed at a ratio in % (10-90):(90:10).

EFFECT: upgraded efficiency of deposit development.
