FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of processing radar information in the network information structure of an automated control system can be used in designing network automated systems for sharing radar information in air defence systems. Part of the radar information processing functions is transferred from the system of automation apparatus of a control station to a network information structure server and the sequence and number of operations for tertiary processing of radar information are altered. At the server, user requests for obtaining radar information on aerial objects are registered. Radar information in form of formalised codograms is transmitted from the radar station to a processing point and, after reducing the received messages to a single reference point, is written in matrix form; preliminary selection of an aerial object is performed, its trajectory is extrapolated and its interrelationship with an aerial object already on the server is evaluated; the result of evaluating the interrelationship is reflected in the formed matrix of data on the aerial object; in accordance with the result and previously registered user requests for radar information, non-recurrent data on the aerial object from sources are redistributed and allocated to users over direct communication channels from the server.
EFFECT: shorter time for delivering radar information to users, possibility of issuing radar information to different users from different sources over direct communication channels.
