SUBSTANCE: the first signal (160) is received from satellite (150) of the first satellite system of location determination and the second signal (140) is received from satellite (130) of the second satellite system of location determination, note that the first signal has the first length of modulation sequence and the second signal has the second length of modulation sequence different from the first length of modulation sequence. Method can also include determination of time shift between the first signal from satellite of the first satellite system of location determination and the second signal from satellite of the second satellite system of location determination on the base of estimated delay of the first signal and the second signal spreading. Method can additionally include setting of position of satellite receiver (120) of location determination on the base of time shift.
EFFECT: reduction of number of probable possibilities of time coordination and thus allowing permission for time ambiguity.
