FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: developed commutator switched by electron beams for active compressor microwave pulses of microwave range consists of unimodal wave-propagating system with electron beams input unit connected to conical horn with preset angle of inclination. Unimodal wave-propagating system includes circular waveguide of selected length connected through moving diaphragm to commutator resonator formed by another circular waveguide at mode TE01 and by two diaphragms at the opposite ends of waveguide. One of diaphragms is moving and the second immovable diaphragm serves as anode of electron gun which tubular cathode installed on moving cathode-holder is located behind the immovable diaphragm.
EFFECT: increasing level of commutated microwave power and actuation stability.
