SUBSTANCE: compressor of microwave pulses, same as in a prototype, comprises a microwave generator connected to an accumulating resonator, a coaxial tee, to the first arm of which an accumulating resonator is connected, and in the second short-circuited arm there is a switch made in the form of a gap of a central conductor, the third arm is the output of the microwave compressor. The accumulating resonator is made as hollow and cylindrical with the length of λ_w·n/2, where is a wave length in an accumulating cylindrical resonator, n - an integer number, X - a wave length, λ_cr=2.62R - a critical wave length, R - a radius of resonator cross section, and the first arm is made in the form of a coaxial horn with a diameter of cross section of the outer conductor as equal to diameters of cross section of the accumulating resonator and the outer coaxial tee.

EFFECT: increased amplification ratio and efficiency factor.
