FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in adaptation method of current limitation set point there measured is instantaneous and actual supply voltage values and current values in stator windings of asynchronous motor and at the intervals determined by conditions of the water supply process, condition of electrical network and time required for performance of computer calculations of characteristics of current energy conversion process in electrical network - smooth start device - asynchronous motor with short-circuited rotor - pump - pipeline system; maximum possible current limitation set point is calculated for smooth start device, at the development of which throughout the controlled start of asynchronous motor there met are the limitations specified in technical requirements, and change the actual current limitation set point value.
EFFECT: reduction of electric power loses in windings of asynchronous motor with short-circuited rotor, which operates in electrical network - smooth start device - asynchronous motor with short-circuited rotor - pump - pipeline system by adaptation of current limitation set point at controlled formation of start-up and braking trajectories.
