FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and physiology and can be used for selection of individual mode of physiological recovery of human organism. 24-hour monitoring of diastolic pressure, mm Hg, and heart rate, beats per minute, is performed. After that, values of Kerdo index and average values of Kerdo index during sleep and wakefulness are calculated. Individual zero of Kerdo index is calculated. On the basis of obtained values of Kerdo index and value of individual zero approximating polynomial is determined and areas of figures above and under curve with respect to abscissa axis corresponding to sleep period (S) and wakefulness period (B) are calculated. S and B values are compared. On the basis of comparison of areas selected is such duration of sleep and wakefulness that equality of S and B values is obtained.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to select balanced individual mode of physiological recovery of human organism on the basis of estimation of 24-hour change of characteristics of vegetative nervous system.
