METHOD OF CORRECTING SAGGING OF SUBCUTANEOUS NECK MUSCLE Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to plastic surgery. For this purpose subcutaneous muscle of neck is sewn through between mastoid processes with, at least, three parallel threads. Threads are fixed on both sides: in zone of mastoid processes, in zone of aponeuroses of sternocleaidomastoid muscles, in zone of sunmandibular salivary glands with sutures, middle line of neck with sutures. Sutures in zone of sternocleidomastoid muscles are applied 0.5-2.5 cm below angle of mandible. Sutures on the most remote from chin thread are fixed in zone of submandibular salivary glands near transition of sunmandibular area into neck. Suture of thread on middle line of neck is applied above hyoid bone.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to enhance cosmetic effect of operation, reduce the number of postoperative complications, prevent recurrence of subcutaneous neck muscle sagging due to multi-point fixation of threads in optimal points.
