FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be applied for closing perforation openings and ruptures of lower third of esophagus. Perforation opening of esophagus is not sewn. Cuff, taking into sutures both walls of stomach and esophagus is formed. Cuff is formed in such a way that it completely closes opening in esophagus. Draining of cuff cavity takes place in esophagus lumen.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce risk of suture failure.
