FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to drives of high flotation vehicles. Transfer gearbox comprises housing to accommodate asymmetric cylindrical differential, gear clutch, bevel pinion cage engaged with central differential gear wheel, input shaft with gears engaged with bevel pinion cage, front and rear driving axle drive shafts. Transfer gearbox comprises also gearshift mechanism including retainer. Bevel pinion cage is fitted on input shaft and comprises axles of differential pinions in permanent mesh with input shaft gears and alternate mesh differential crown gear. Gearshift mechanism is made up of rotary lever fitted in bearings on gearbox housing. Note here that lever short arm is provided with groove to receive pusher reciprocating therein and locked in differential pinion cage ledge. Lever long arm is furnished with lever transverse turn pivot placed alternately in retainer slots corresponding to selected gear.
