FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drives installed on high cross-country capacity. Transfer box comprises case to accommodate asymmetric cylindrical differential, unit of movable gears with intermediate gears engaged with crown gear interaxes differential input shaft with drive gears connected with assembly, as well as gear shift mechanism mounted on case of transfer gear. Gear shift mechanism consists of retainer stop, dog and tie rods, led to gearshift lever mounted on driver's workplace. On retainer housing is fixed bracket on which is double-arm lever, which in turn, connects tie-rod gearshift lever with tie rod of retainer. Stop is rigidly fixed on shaft installed in plates of moving unit of gears. Retainer is rotated together with shaft, around axis of this shaft drawing it alternately in fixed position corresponding to required transmission. Gear shifting is carried out in one movement of gearshift lever forward or backward along the longitudinal axis of vehicle driver's workplace.
EFFECT: shorter switching time of distribution gearbox.
