FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: described is a method of producing trimetallic salts of poly(meth)acrylic acid, involving polymerisation of acrylic or methacrylic acid in the presence of potassium persulphate, followed by addition of the corresponding mixture of chlorides of metals Ca, Mg, Zn, Mn, Fe(II), Co and Ni, using the pairs Ca-Mn, Ca-Fe(II), Ca-Co, Ca-Ni, Mg-Mn, Mg-Fe(II), Mg-Co, Mg-Ni, Zn-Mn, Zn-Fe(Il), Zn-Co, Zn-Ni from 1.6441 to 2.4354 mol and neutralisation of the remaining acid with aqueous sodium hydroxide solution.

EFFECT: obtaining said salts for possible use thereof in heat treatment of metals, as components of lubricant coolants and in production of construction materials.
