FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: drive includes housing with common frame, which are installed on the base; motor, reduction gear, coupling and support attaching the outlet shaft of reduction gear to drive sprocket are installed on the above frame. In the housing there arranged is the mechanism converting rotary motion to back-and-forth motion and comprising the drive and driven sprockets enclosed with closed chain connected to the carriage which in its turn is connected to counter-weight. The latter has "П"-shape in cross section and is connected through flexible link to rod suspension assembly. Drive sprocket is installed in housing with possibility of rotation and restricted movement along axis of conversion mechanism for chain tension regulation. Lube oil tank is provided in lower part of housing. Conversion mechanism is enclosed on the outside by means of housing with air injection system for creation of excessive pressure inside the housing.

EFFECT: higher reliability and durability of drive operation due to guaranteed protection of the whole chain and sprockets interacting with it, as well as lube oil against action of mechanical impurities contained in the environment.
