FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to hybrid vehicle power drive system, electronic control unit and method of control over it. Power drive system comprises mechanical transmission equipped with sync gear, ICE, motor generator, and electronic control unit. Proposed method comprises changing power drive system to generator mode, generating control sequence for changing from idling to operation, disengaging main clutch and forced engagement of sync gear. Generator mode allows engagement of the main clutch to make motor generator run in generation mode. At main clutch disengagement, ICE and motor generator are uncoupled to bring sync gear in synchronism. Electronic control unit control aforesaid power drive as described above.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of control.
