FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used during production of alkaline nickel-cadmium accumulator (ANCA). According to the invention, production method of active mass of cadmium electrode of ANCA involves mixing of cadmium oxide with water solution of sodium hypophosphite and nickel salt (II) at temperature of 80÷90°C, mixing of the obtained mass with water solution of organic binding agent, application of mixture to volumetric meshed nickel current lead, further drying at 50-60°C and flaring at pressure of 100-200 kg/cm2. Production method of active mass of ANCA cadmium electrode involves mixing of cadmium oxide with sodium borane and addition to the obtained mixture of nickel salt (II) solution, mixing of the obtained mixture of powders with water solution of organic binding agent, application of mixture to volumetric meshed nickel current lead, further drying at 50-60°C and flaring at pressure of 100-200 kg/cm2. Composition of active mass is maintained at the interval of further ratio of components, wt %: cadmium oxide 95-97, chemically reduced nickel 2-4, water solution of organic binding agent 1.

EFFECT: increasing cadmium oxide use coefficient.
