FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to assign a transfer time interval, in which, based partially on information about conditions on a channel and/or speed of data transfer, it may be defined, whether a long or a short interval of transfer time should be planned for the specified packet. The long interval of transfer time is planned under poor conditions on a channel and/or low speed of data transfer. The short interval of transfer time is planned under good conditions on a channel and/or high or fast speed of data transfer. Also an alternative structure of alternation is included, which supports long and short intervals of transfer time, at the same time the alternation structure for a coded package is indicated by addition of an additional bit to a forward link assignment message (FLAM) or a reverse link assignment message (RLAM).
EFFECT: flexible distribution of frequency range resources between short and long intervals of time during transfers in multi-user systems of radio communication.
