FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: two or several LED are in-series connected between the first node and the second node; at that, current of series connection flows between nodes when operating voltage is applied between nodes. One or several controlled current lines are parallel connected at least to the first LED at least for partial deviation of series connection current at least near the first LED. Controller controls at least one parameter indicating the operating voltage, determines maximum number of in-series connected LED which can be fed with energy due to operating voltage, and controls the controlled current line(s) in order to increase the current value of series connection, which deviates at least near the first LED when maximum number of LED is less than total number of all LED which are in series connected. In one example the device can be implemented in the form of module of integral circuit in order to provide the lighting device to be used in automobiles.

EFFECT: rise of total operating voltage of the system.
