FIELD: lighting engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering, in particular to the control of the therapeutic lighting system. Lighting control method for providing lighting for a plurality of users contains the following steps: providing the first illumination having the first characteristics of the light output, in the first area in the room and providing a second illumination having the second characteristics of the light output, for the second area in the said room (300, 305); wherein said first illumination and said second illumination are different; identification of the first user's lighting needs for said first characteristics (310) of light output and identifying the needs of the second user in the illumination for said second characteristics of the light output. Method further comprises directing the first user to first area (315) using the personal device of the first user based on the identification of said needs for illumination of said first user for the first characteristics of the light output and sending a second user to said second area by a second user's personal device based on the identification of said second user's needs for lighting for the second characteristics of the light output, wherein the user's personal devices communicate with controller (120), which is arranged to control the first illumination and the second illumination.

EFFECT: technical result is the provision of dynamic personal lighting, adapted to the needs of users.
