SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a waterproof and vapor-permeable boot, as well as the invention relates to the boot obtained by this method. A method of manufacturing a waterproof and vapor-permeable boot, according to which: such semimanufactured boot top element (12) is manufactured, so it can fold-out on a flat surface or on two surfaces opposite each other, on the inner side of the said semimanufactured boot top element (12) the waterproof and vapor-permeable membrane (13) is placed. The means of adhesive bonding between the semimanufactured top element (12) and the membrane (13) is prepared, so as not to impair the vapor permeability of the site. One or more forms are produced, which are essentially flat, but they can change their shape with possibility of addition relative to different thicknesses of the stitched seams and matched parts that form the outer surface of the said semimanufactured top element (12). The said membrane (13) is firmly connected with the said semimanufactured top element (12), with the outer portion of the said semimanufactured element is placed so that the outer surface is located on the form. The said top (12) is finished by giving it the appropriate three-dimensional configuration and connected it with the insole (14), and the sole (16) is connected with a waterproof top (12) and with the insole (14). The said semimanufactured top element is fully open, and the top (12) is almost fully assembled so that it can be folded-out on a flat surface (20).

EFFECT: method for manufacturing a waterproof and vapor-permeable boot, which is simple and fast, and enables to use simple equipment.
