FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household appliances, namely, to dishes for boiling water. Electric kettle includes a base, a housing with a bottom mounted on the base, current supply, a heater, a microcontroller, which output is connected to the relay, which switching circuit is connected between the current supply and the heater, and connected to the input element of the microcontroller the switching-on element, a boiling sensor and a power sensor, which power-taking elements are set with an ability to interact with the base and the bottom. And a part of the bottom interacting with the power sensor is configured to shift and/or deflect by water gravity, and the power sensor is integral with the boiling sensor.
EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the complexity of production of an electric kettle and provide better organoleptic parameters of water that stays cleaner because of its exclusion of contact with plastic.
