FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents for cleaning surface and soil from oil and oil products. Sorbent is produced in hydrophobisation of fibrous cellulose material by solution of oxidised atactic polypropylene. The latter is oxidised at 180°C to 240°C and dissolved in tetrachloroethylene. Fibrous cellulose material is impregnated with obtained solution bearing 0.4-0.5% of oxidised atactic polypropylene while surplus solution is drained and returned into circulation. Impregnated fibrous cellulose material is dried to constant weight by forcing heated air there through. Vapors of tetrachloroethylene is condensed and returned into process.
EFFECT: higher safety of production and capacity with respect to oil and oil products, multiple recovery.
