FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: complex alloy containing alloying elements, wt %, is melted by the aluminothermic method: molybdenum 25-27, vanadium 25-27, chromium 14-16, titanium 9-11, aluminium - balance, preparation of a charge containing the complex alloy, iron and zirconium in the form of technically pure metals, melting of an ingot of pseudo β-titanium alloy, at least by double remelting, at the same time the first remelting is carried out in a vacuum arc furnace or by the wall accretion method - a consumable electrode, and the second remelt - in the vacuum arc furnace.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce a pseudo β-titanium alloy, which is highly homogeneous in its chemical composition and alloyed with refractory elements, with low aluminium content, having stable high-strength properties in combination with high impact strength.
