FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sealing system is intended for rotary piston machines. Rotor of said machines is made up of two or more parallel rotor discs with their outer surfaces pressed to housing faces by springs or working medium. Rotor disc radial guide grooves 5 accommodate moving slides with parts 3, 4 made of shaped plates. Slide parts 3, 4 are arranged in slide cartridges to displace relative to each other to fit housing faces as seals and to make, together with rotor discs 1,2, solid sealing surfaces to rule out ingress of medium therein. In compliance with second version, rotor discs on outer edges have rigid sealing plates extending over rotor width. Material nearby sealing plates is provided with recesses to ensure resilience in circular direction by smaller elastic rigidity compared to that of surrounding material. Forces of pressing rotor to housing wall allow elastic flexure of sealing plate in direction opposite the rotor rotation.
EFFECT: sealing system for rotary piston machines.
