FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary-piston internal combustion engines with planetary motion of rotor-piston. SUBSTANCE: sealing system has cylindrical holders 2 secured in cylindrical sockets in middle of sides of working space of engine housing 1. Twin plate sealing members 4 loaded by helical springs are fitted in slots 3 of holders 2. Threaded plugs are used to adjust tightening of sealing members. Sealing members are tilted opposite to movement of elliptical rotor-piston 8. One nonsplit ring 9 is fitted on each end face surface of rotor-piston, and two intersecting split rings 11 adjoining the periphery of rotor-piston. Nonsplit rings 9 are arranged coaxially to central hole 10. Split of each split ring 11 is arranged on smaller diameter 12 of elliptical surface of rotor-piston on its leading side.
