FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for determining measurement error includes a measuring means in form of a high-precision autocollimator with a diagonal mirror and a polygonal prism, a massive base, a small base rigidly mounted on the massive base on which a tilt group is mounted on a support, wherein the tilt group can turn in the vertical plane by ±135°; the axis of rotation of the tilt group is rigidly attached to a measuring part consisting of a collimator which is optically connected to the goniometer and said polygonal prism, which is in form of a full polygon, optically connected to the high-precision autocollimator, mounted on the small base and with said diagonal mirror mounted on the small base. A turn table with two platforms is also mounted on the small base, on the upper platform of which the goniometer to be checked is placed, and a second full polygonal prism, connected to a second high-precision autocollimator, is mounted on the lower platform.

EFFECT: design of an apparatus for determining measurement error for both vertical and horizontal angles of all types of geodesic goniometers.
