FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: feeder has a vertical storage bin with a feed spout and a coaxially mounted unit for capturing powdered material, an easy-flow apparatus, a carrier gas channel, a gas-powder suspension channel, as well as displacement mechanisms, motors and control panels. According to the invention, the storage bin is adapted to perform vertical back and forth movement and is equipped with a hoisting mechanism on the bottom side. On the top, coaxially with the storage bin, there is a unit for capturing powdered material, which is in form of tube with a flattened cone at the end, which faces the inside of the storage bin with its larger diameter, with possibility of mutual displacement. Inside the tube there is a coaxially fitted easy-flow device in form of a motor shaft with an impeller at the end, annular channels for feeding the carrier gas and the gas-powder suspension, wherein the wall which divides the annular channels in the region of the impeller is in form of a second flattened cone of a smaller diameter which forms with the recess of the first cone an annular slit-type channel for accessing the carrier gas in the zone of capturing powdered material, wherein flow of the powdered material is controlled by the vertical speed of the storage bin.

EFFECT: high reliability, providing stability and controllability of flow parameters of gas-powder stream.
