METHOD OF TREATING TUBERCULOSIS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61K31/00

Abstract RU 2464016 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to phthisiology, and may be used for treating patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. That is ensured by the extracorporeal blood cell treatment by one of anti-tuberculosis preparations and the infusion of a cell suspension of the preparation to the patient. If observing a severe state of the patient, donor's blood cells are treated and introduced into the patient once the state improved. The extracorporeal drug treatment is multiple and combined with common methods of introducing the preparations on the other days between the infusion of the cell suspension with underlying the anti-tuberculosis therapy.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness and reducing death rate in the patients with severe, advanced, acutely progressive forms of tuberculosis with multiple drug resistance of mycobacteria and a severe accompanying pathology.
