SUBSTANCE: drive 2 of proposed device is arranged at turn section 1. Said drive 2 actuates drive wheels 5, 5.1 to activate the stairway or ramp with troughs and consists, in fact, of drive motor 6 and axial reduction gearbox 7. Drive motor 6 actuates high-speed input shaft 11 of axial reduction gearbox 7 via appropriate haulage means 10. Every drive wheel 5, 5.1 is designed to be driven by low-speed shaft engaged with axial reduction gearbox housing 7.1 while haulage means 10 represents V-belt, web or rope. First flange 15 supports first drive wheel with bearing fitted in metal structure. Second drive wheel 5.1 is fitted on extension of hollow shaft 14. Another extension of said shaft 14 is engaged with axial reduction gearbox housing 7.1 Second flange 16 jointed with bearing shield 14 makes retainer for axial reduction gearbox 7.

EFFECT: compact design of service lift turn section.
