FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: anti-icing material is a mixture of natural, artificial or ground sandstone and components which lower the freezing point of water (KST) - salts of sodium, potassium, calcium, mineral fertilisers in amount of 0.5-5% of the weight of sandstone. The abrasive component superficially freezes on to compact snow and ice, forming a stable abrasive coating.
EFFECT: invention reduces the amount of KST in the mixture, reduces the load on the environment.
