FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device to determine coupling properties of a road surface includes a body, where a tyre imitator is mounted, equipped with a loading mechanism and joined with a drive of its reciprocal displacement, arranged in the form of a return spring and a pneumatic drive. The novelty is the fact that the tyre imitator is installed between the return spring and the pneumatic drive, to which it is connected by means of a flexible joint arranged as a metal tape. Besides, the return spring and the pneumatic drive are mounted on a body in such a way that direction of their action is perpendicular to direction of tyre imitator displacement, at the same time the flexible joint rests against diverting freely rotating drums.
EFFECT: simplified device design and its increased operational reliability.
