FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: cylinder drive uses compressed air and includes multiple bellows cylinders expanded due to compressed air, connecting rod fixed on each bellows cylinder and entering the housing through its upper part, crankshaft connected in series to connecting rod for bringing into rotation due to lifting of connecting rods, high-pressure container supplying the compressed air to bellows cylinders through compressed air supply line and valve arranged in each bellows cylinder, which divides the space inside bellows cylinder into upper and lower chambers and opens/closes the air passage to those chambers. The valve closes, thus separating upper chamber from lower chamber when bellows cylinders are filled with compressed air, and opens when bellows cylinders are lifted to upper dead point. The valve is connected to auxiliary bellows cylinder inside which there arranged is tension spring retaining the auxiliary bellows cylinder in compressed condition, thus allowing the compressed air to enter from bellows cylinder to auxiliary bellows cylinder when the valve is open.
EFFECT: drive excludes the problems concerning the increasing fuel cost and solves the power problems.
