FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a pressure transmitter and a manometer. The pressure transmitter has a housing (20) and a separation diaphragm (10), wherein between the housing (20) of the pressure transmitter and the separation diaphragm (10) a pressure chamber is formed, whose volume V depends on the position of the separation diaphragm, wherein the separation diaphragm (10) consists of material with thickness h and has a working section with area A, wherein the separation diaphragm (10) has a reference position in which the pressure chamber has reference volume Vref, and can sag such that the volume of the pressure chamber varies from Vref to Δsoll, wherein change in volume ΔV corresponds to a dimensionless quantity w(ΔV), where w(ΔV):=(3. ΔV)/(A.h), wherein the value of ΔVsoll is selected such that w(ΔVsoll)≥2.5 holds, wherein the separation diaphragm, for any value of w(ΔV) for which |w(ΔV)<w'(ΔV)| holds, where w'(ΔV)≥0.5*|w(ΔVsoll)|, has an additional, non-axially symmetric sagging mode overlapping the non-axially symmetric sag by a value w(ΔV), wherein the sag during a non-axially mode, for |w(ΔV)|=0.4*[w(ΔVsoIl)], is at least 0.3 times the value of the maximum sag during a non-axially symmetric mode. The manometer has a hydraulic measuring mechanism with a cell for measuring pressure with a pressure converter for outputting a pressure-dependent electrical or optical signal, wherein the measuring mechanism has at least one hydraulic channel and at least one pressure transmitter according to any of claims 1-24, wherein the cell for measuring pressure is loaded with at least one pressure value through at least one hydraulic channel passing from the reference chamber of the pressure transmitter to the cell for measuring pressure.

EFFECT: design of pressure transmitters and detecting elements of manometers with such pressure transmitters, in which there are no indicators and shortcomings inherent to the level of technology.
