FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: hydraulic pressure sensor has a main housing with an essentially axially symmetrical cup-shaped surface having a circular peripheral section, a central section which is lowered relative the peripheral section and encircled by it, and a circular transition section whose inner side lies adjacent to the central section of the surface, and the outer side to the peripheral section, an essentially symmetrical cup-shaped separating membrane with an even circular peripheral section which is lowered relative the central section and a circular transition section whose inner side lies adjacent to the central section of the separating membrane and the outer side to the peripheral section. The central section of the separating membrane has circular corrugations. The separating membrane is joined by its peripheral section on a circular joint to the peripheral section of the surface, including the cavity filled with transmission fluid, where the cavity is linked through an opening on the surface of the main housing with a hydraulic channel. The transition section of the separating membrane has a groove which has inner and outer sides, as well as a transition zone, where the outer side of the groove has a first circular inclined surface which is adjacent to the peripheral section of the separating membrane, while the inner side of the groove has a second circular inclined surface which is adjacent to the central section of the separating membrane. Also the transition zone of the groove lies between the first and second inclined surfaces, where the first inclined surface is made with maximum inclination of not less than 15° relative the plane perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the separating membrane. The second inclined surface is made with maximum inclination of not less than 20° relative the plane perpendicular the axis of symmetry of the separating membrane.
