SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The method for production of smoking fume in a frictional fume generator consists in fuel wood log end friction against a rotating surface; the frictional fume generator specificity is as follows: the rotating surface is represented by a wood surface, the both wood surfaces rotating in opposite directions, while pyrolysis is performed continuously-and-sequentially in each section of the both fuel wood logs.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce high quality fume free of oxidative films and to simplify the technological process.
