METHOD OF BONE PLASTY OF DEFECT OF MEDIAL WALL OF HIP BONE PROXIMAL PART IN REVISION ENDOPTOSTHETICS OF HIP JOINT Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B17/56 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics and can be used for replacement of defects of medial wall of hip bone proximal part in revision endoprosthetics of hip joint. After determination of dimensions of defect of medial wall of hip bone proximal part from fragment of demineralised cortical bone formed is triangular transplant, split near the apex in such a way that when installed transplant covers hip bone defect with 0.8-1.5 cm overlap on each wall. Transplant is introduced with base up between internal wall of bone marrow canal and hip component of endoprosthesis. After that, final installation of hip component of cement-free fixation is carried out with strong fixation of transplant apex between bone and endoprosthesis. Angles near transplant base are fixed to hip bone by means of ligatures. Space between endoprosthesis and transplant is densely filled with bone crump or chips.

EFFECT: method ensures biological fixation of transplant, reduction of risk of development of periprosthetic fractures, fast transplant change, tight contact of transplant with both hip bone and with endoprosthesis.
