FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning fluids of solid particles in centrifugal field, namely, to hydrocyclone separators to be used, for example, in cleaning fluid fed to pump assembly units. Proposed hydrocyclone comprises tapered cylinder casing with radial feed branch pipe and axial discharge branch pipe. It is provided with detachable cylindrical elements with, at least, two tangential gaged orifices and cover with axial drain branch pipe with intake extending inside separator casing. Cover has circular bicurved recess smoothly conjugated in radial-axial cross-section with cylindrical element inner surface and drain branch pipe extension. Hydrocyclone incorporates lube fluid flow control system to be fitted on radial and axial branch pipes of elements with gaged orifice, while detachable drain branch pipe extension allows selecting and replacing cross-section of gaged orifice for balanced adjustment of cleaned lube fluid flow.
EFFECT: longer life, minimised power losses.
