SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to rolling mill cooling and cleaning devices and to method of rolling. Rolling mill 1 comprises, at least, one pair of working rolls and, at least, one cooling device 2 to eject multiple jets onto at least one working roll and to force, at least, one cleaning jet between cooling jets and rolled metal articles. Note here that cleaning jet in preset direction, at angle to normal line, to working roll surface.
EFFECT: longer life.
