FIELD: metal rolling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling, namely, to cooling device (7) for roll (5) rolling mill (1) cooling. Cooling device (7) includes cooling beam (13) for receiving and discharging cooling agent, wherein this cooling beam (13) has several solid-jet nozzles (21) located on roller (5) facing the roller and passing parallel to roller axis (17) outlet side (19) of cooling beam (13), through which from cooling beam (13) in direction (23) outlet on roller (5) can be released by one jet of cooling agent, having almost constant diameter jet.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to supply a jet in conditions varying within a wide range of the distance from the spraying beam to the roller, with high impact pressure overcoming the cooling agent film on the roll, which enables to reduce operating costs of the cooling device.
