FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extrusion equipment and may be used in production of briquettes from saw dust. Proposed screw extruder comprises loader, conical screw arranged in conical housing and forming channel with heating elements there around. Note here that variable-length adapter made up of pressing cage is arranged on housing, between loader and conical case. Heating element is arranged on pressing case outer surface while cylindrical section is made on aforesaid screw proportional with pressing cage.
EFFECT: expanded operating performances.
