FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for producing motor fuel, in power generators built around fuel cells, and water heaters. Natural gas and air preheated by means 2 are fed into zone 3 for heating and mixing flows of initial reagents of tight chamber 1. Mixing of said flows is performed by mixing distributed flows fed from gas distributing means 4 with oncoming free-falling airflow. Said gas distribution means 4 is composed of discrete spaced apart tubular elements 5. Gas-air mix after mixing in zone 3 flows through catalyst 6. Mix comprising hydrogen and carbon oxide passes through cooler 18, distribution chamber 12 to get into tight chamber 15. Processed distributed mix flows flow via cooled tubes 14 to get combined in means 17 integrating distributed flows. Obtained synthesis gas is discharged via appropriate branch pipe 11.
EFFECT: better mixing.
