SUBSTANCE: method of liquid processing of laundry in washing machines with a vertical drum includes placing the linen into irreversible perforated drum performing cyclically the mechanical influence on the linen, by repeated increasing and decreasing the angular velocity of the drum. Decreasing of the angular velocity is the result of interaction of the rotating drum with a solution, and the cyclical increase of the angular velocity of the washing drum is carried out at decreasing the level of the detergent solution in the tank as a result of its pumping-over into the storage container and the subsequent drain into the tank. The process of changing the level of the washing solution in the tank is multiply repeated.

EFFECT: drum acceleration due to decreasing the resistance of the solution is faster, in consequence of which energy consumption is reduced and processing rate is increased.
