METHOD TO CONSTRUCT AND REPAIR WATER CONDUITS AND HEADERS OF SHALLOW WASTE WATER ON BOTTOM OF RIVERS AND WATER RESERVOIRS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC E02D29/73

Abstract RU 2465408 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method to construct and repair water conduits and headers of shallow waste water on the bottom of rivers and water reservoirs includes using a self-rising floating barge (SFB) with a down in the middle, delivery of the SFB with the help of a tugboat and/or by self-operation to the area of works, fixation of the SFB position with the help of anchors, lowering of the SFB supports onto soil and rising the SFB to the height eliminating exposure of the SFB body to wave loads, lowering of guides arranged vertically along inner walls of the down, into soil, and subsequent lowering of the pit assembled from caissons along these guides in order to create a section closed in plan on the bottom of the water area for performance of works, after completion of works the SFB is moved to the next area along the route of erection or repair of water conduits and headers, and the cycle is repeated. Previously in the lower edge of the bow part of the lower caisson a recess is made that follows the shape of the pipe laid with gaps at sides. After the caisson has been lowered onto the laid part of the pipe, the recess at the outer side of the caisson is filled with gravel so that possibility of soil washout inside the caisson is eliminated in process of trench formation. Then a trench is formed, where the next section of the pipe is laid, besides, to ensure tightness of connection, pipe sections are arranged at one side with a socket, where a rubber gasket is installed. In the area of the middle part of the laid pipe section, gravel is filled, to achieve fixation of the laid pipe section position.

EFFECT: provides for the possibility to lay and repair water conduits and headers of waste water made of separate pipe sections, possibility to lay and repair near coastal area, higher ecological compatibility and safety of laying and repair process.
